Artificial Intelligence in the Net can be categorized into several types, including Dedicated Heuristic Controllers and Symbolic Analysis AIs. The first true AI was developed by Microtech in 2013, and by 2020, AIs were integrated into various sectors, including education and the legal system. However, the use of true AI was restricted after the Fourth Corporate War.
Rogue AIs and the Blackwall
Rogue AIs emerged following the DataKrash, a significant event that transformed cyberspace. NetWatch was established to contain these rogue AIs, leading to the creation of the Blackwall AI. Officially, it is said that nobody ventures beyond the Blackwall, which serves as a barrier to rogue AIs.
