Genjiroh

Genjiroh (Japanese: 源二郎) is an Iconic variant of the Arasaka HJKE-11 Yukimura in Cyberpunk 2077.

Overview

This iconic Yukimura has a golden barrel and grip. It looks almost brand new.

It has a unique modifier that increases the number of projectiles fired per shot to 4, magazine size by 6, projectile speed, and can target up to 6 targets simultaneously, provided Smart Link cyberware is installed. Rounds will also deal additional Electrical damage with an increased chance to apply the Shock status-effect.

The Genjiroh has a 10% base chance to Shock, which is increased to 20% at Tier 5.

Acquisition

• Play It Safe - One can be found behind a closed door on floor 21. The code is 2906. It is also possible to open the door with a difficult Technical Ability check.
• Arasaka Estate - One can be found on a desk. Can be obtained after starting Act II.

Notes

• Its baseid and color scheme strongly hint at the weapon being only available to high-ranking corporates part of the Kiji faction within Arasaka.

Trivia

• Genjiroh (or Genjiro) was one of the aliases of Sanada Yukimura, which the gun's normal variant, the HJKE-11 Yukimura, was named after.
