Overview

Founded in Wolfsburg, Germany, in 1937, Volkswagen is a German automotive manufacturer specializing in everyday civilian use cars like hatchbacks, SUV's and Sedans. Volkswagen also has a history of creating military vehicles. Ferdinand Porsche is one of the automotive engineers that worked on the original Beetle design.
