Old Corporate Center

History
The Corporate Center was once the financial heart of Night City. An area full of skyscrapers and office buildings that housed many businesses and corporations. The notorious Corporate Plaza housed the regional headquarters of large megacorporations such as Arasaka, EBM, or Militech. During the Fourth Corporate War, this district was heavily damaged by the firefights between Arasaka and Militech, culminating in the Night City Holocaust of 2023, in which a nuclear device exploded from inside the top floors of the Arasaka Towers. The Corporate Center was the most affected area by the explosion, leaving much if not all the district completely devastated and irradiated.
By the 2040s, the former Corporate Center was a ruin of its former glory, though some buildings still hold valuable technology.[1]
Reconstruction on this area would finally begin in 2052.[2]
