Jago Szabó is the chief accountant of BARGHEST in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.

Jago was born as Jagoda Szabó in Budapest, Hungary. That same year, Jago's family moved to Night City. He transitioned at some point afterwards. In 2066, he was sentenced to prison for embezzling corporate funds of Petrochem and was released for good behavior in 2068. During the next years, Jago worked in Night City's underworld. In 2072 he helped lay the foundations of Barghest, becoming one of its top-ranking members due to his corporate skills and connections in the smuggling trade.

Jago may become the new leader of Dogtown.

If BARGHEST was a legitimate corporation, Jago would be its CFO and his name would be on platinum-coated business cards. For now, he has to settle for the unofficial position of the organization's "treasurer". He's a real numbers whisperer, a virtuoso accountant and the bane of stubborn contractors. Though he may seem the odd one out in a highly-militarized structure, Jago aims high and works diligently to achieve his goals. His friendly disposition is only a facade, behind which lies a cold, calculating intellect.

• Jago first appears during Dog Eat Dog, where he is checking on the goods of a transport in Dogtown's entrance.
• Jago's birth name, Jagoda, is a feminine given name in Poland and Croatia.
• Jago's voice actor is not credited, but is presumably voiced by Shaan Dasani, a trans man, who is credited as a voice actor for the DLC. Along with Jago's birth name, this implies that Jago underwent a gender transition.
