In Cyberpunk 2077

Highway 101 (known in some sections as 101 North or the New Pacific Highway) is a major north-south road that goes along the Californian coast.

Overview

Starting somewhere in Northern California, Highway 101 stretches along the Pacific coast south until it reaches Night City. This portion, which goes through the oilfields outside of the city, is known as the 101 North and it eventually merges with Industrial Street in Watson. After reaching the end of Ulysses Street in Santo Domingo, Highway 101 reapers, continuing southwest. Once in the Badlands outside of Night City, the following portion of the 101 is known as the New Pacific Highway. Keeping the same direction, the highway bisects the Southern Desert until reaching the Border Crossing with Southern California, where it continues into Los Padres County. As pointed out by the signs around Night City, the highway leads north to San Francisco and south to Los Angeles.

This highway was already present in 2045 and it still is in 2077.

Notes

• Based on direction, the southern portion of 101 could be the old Highway 126, while the northern portion could be the old Highway 928, both from Cyberpunk 2020.
