For the longest time, Murphy thought the most important thing was to find himself in the right place at the right time at least once - then life would be a breeze. Years spent living in Dogtown shattered this illusion. You had to stick with the right people, often break your back for them. Dogtown is a miniscule nation, but its atmosphere is tense - it needs an iron fist to keep the comers and goers in check. That fist belongs to Murphy. As a representative of Hansen's more approachable side, he'll talk to everyone who's anyone and sound them out. Depending on the need, or Hansen's mood, that talk can go smoothly, or it can end with a bullet in the other person's skull.
