Atlanta
Atlanta is the capital city of the NUSA state of Georgia.
History
1990s - 2020s
Though Atlanta remains the effective capital of Georgia, the real seat of political power lies in the modern city of Plantation. The Planetran Maglev Network line from Night City to Washington, D.C. had a stop in Atlanta.[1]
2070s
If V has taken the Streetkid lifepath, it is mentioned that in 2074 they left for Atlanta to find a better place to live than Night City, but unfortunately it didn't work out and they returned to NC two years later in 2076. V says they only got back a few weeks ago when talking to Padre, and depending on how V reacts during their confrontation with 6th Street thug Sam Carter, Padre may comment that Atlanta "broke" V. Later, when arrested by Inspector Stints from the NCPD, he explains he had heard news of V's exploration for a "slice of happiness" there.[2]
