Brunei Darussalam
Brunei, officially Brunei Derussalam, is a tiny nation on the island of Borneo, surrounded by Malaysia and the South China Sea.
History
Brunei was already quite rich before, but after the Mideast Meltdown the rich Saudis and Kuwaitis that took refuge in the city made it even richer.
Due to the fallout of the Second Corporate War, most of Brunei's once-beautiful beaches are now covered in spilled oil.[1]
Culture
Brunei has a heavily Islamic culture and most people wear traditional Arabic clothing, though in actuality the country is quite racially diverse. Banishment is the usual punishment for severe crimes.
Brunei is considered by outsiders to be incredibly boring, with Islamic law forbidding alcohol, sex work, pornography, and Braindances.
Brunei's cities contain beautiful golden minarets and mosques, but its coast is covered in oil due to the Second Corporate War.[1]
Economy
Brunei is an incredibly rich money, with its richest citizens being oil barons. Everyone in Brunei has free healthcare and pensions, gets free pilgrimages to Mecca, and they eat meat from Brunei-owned Australian farms. The only foreign corporations in Brunei are Arasaka and SovOil, but both have immense power.[1]
