User Friendly is a song by Kerry Eurodyne that gained significant popularity and led to a notable cover by the Japanese idol group Us Cracks in 2077.

Overview

User Friendly is a song written and performed by rockerboy Kerry Eurodyne. It is possibly a single not attributed to any particular album and depicts a resentful stance towards consumerist society. The song reached a very wide audience and became a legend in rock music history.

Cover by Us Cracks

In 2077, the Japanese idol group Us Cracks made a cover of 'User Friendly'. This cover was played on 98.7 Body Heat Radio. The group, formed by three American-born Japanese girls, aimed to compete against successful AIs in music and has toured cities like Tokyo, Paris, Sydney, and Night City. The members of Us Cracks are known by their pseudonyms: Purple Force, Red Menace, and Blue Moon.

Conflict and Resolution

Kerry Eurodyne was furious towards Us Cracks when he learned about the cover, feeling that they were using his art without permission. He confronted Us Cracks with the help of a merc called V. Both Eurodyne and Us Cracks eventually realized they were manipulated by their managers, leading to Us Cracks agreeing to suspend their tour as an apology to Kerry. This outcome led to a joint project called 'Off the Leash', which resulted in a new single.

Musical Contributions

The lyrics for the song were written by Katarzyna Kraińska and Yuki Kawamura, while the music was composed by Kaito Sakuma and Yuki Kawamura. Keyboards were played by Yo Sakume.
