Stronger is the seventh episode of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. The episode takes place a few months after the previous episode, Girl on Fire, and is titled after the Kanye West song "Stronger" from his 2007 album Graduation.

Plot Summary

In this episode, David leads his team into a new mission, preparing for a dangerous assignment. He equips Julio with a shotgun for the mission, targeting a fortified facility guarded by gang members and turrets. Unfortunately, Julio meets his demise when he triggers an explosive tripwire. After the job, Wakako expresses her admiration for their performance. Meanwhile, David reflects on Lucy's absence and her reluctance to rejoin the crew. Faraday contacts David at the Afterlife bar, tasking him with persuading Lucy to return and undertake a job.

Character Developments

David visits his ripperdoc for fine-tuning, receiving a cautionary message about excessive augmentation. Lucy, who was born and raised outside Night City, is revealed to be the sole survivor of a rebellion against Arasaka. Becca showcases her new cyberhands augmentation, highlighting the ongoing theme of body modification in the series.
