Killing In The Name[T 1] is a Side Job in Cyberpunk 2077.
Walkthrough
Some time after after dealing with the Voodoo Boys, V will be sent a message to check their personal computer in their apartment regarding the Bartmoss Collective. After heading up to their apartment and checking out Nancy's post on the Bartmoss website, V give Bess a call.[N 1]
After contacting Nancy on the holo, V is directed towards the source of a signal coming from an apartment building on an unnamed street in Rancho Coronado, Santo Domingo.[N 2] After hacking the device, V receives a message from an unknown sender, directing V to another location in the Badlands.
V navigates to the second location in the Jackson Plains. They find another router can be found atop a trailer, which is guarded by Wraiths. After hacking this router, they will receive another message directing them to a third location.
They navigate to the third location in the Biotechnica Flats. They find another router at the top of one of the large Biotechnica installations. Once again, after hacking the router, they are sent a text message directing them to a fourth location.
V navigates to the fourth location at the West Wind Estates in Pacifica. They find a router next to a hacked Fortune Teller Machine, which appears to be the original source of the signal.[N 3]
If V decides to keep the Fortune Teller:
- The fortune teller will remain active, and will keep misleading people on the net by spreading rumors and citations, satisfying Johnny in the process.
If V decides to hack the Fortune Teller:
- V is able to choose to either disable the fortune teller machine or to hack the machine.
- If V decides to disable the Fortune Teller:
- V disabled the machine and with it also the website, to the dismay of Johnny. A niche commemorating Swedenborg is placed at the Columbarium in North Oak.
- IF V decides to make the Fortune Teller produce more nonsense:
- V hacked the Fortune Teller machine using their Intelligence, to make it produce even more nonsense, satisfying Johnny in the process.
Afterwards, V calls Nancy to update them on the current status of the mystery, concluding the gig.

- I'm curious about this Swedenborg-Riviera. To write that kinda nonsense, you've gotta have a good head. "Humanity is nothing but a pyramid scheme hidden behind a facade of tears..." Well, fuck me. What's this guy on? And where can I get some?

- Hack the router.
- Read the message you received.
- Tell Johnny you'll leave the fortuneteller bot alone.
- Connect to the fortuneteller bot to modify the algorithm. [Optional]
- Talk to Johnny.
- Call Nancy.

- ↑ Although this quest can be started early in Act 2, the requisite quests for progression, Second Conflict and A Like Supreme, can only be started upon completing Act 2.
