1R-0NC-LAD is a robot in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.

Biography

This article requires cleanup.
[Reason: Should be moved to Cyberpunk 2077 Mini-World Stories, as it is marked as one]

Inside the EBM Petrochem Stadium, there will be a green shipping crate located near and above the Autofixer terminal, where sparks can be seen inside it. Inside will be a damaged combat robot which is the source of the sparks. Accessing the laptop beside the robot will add 1R-0NC-LAD as a new contact, and it will then begin to send V on a scavenger hunt throughout the EBM Petrochem Stadium for "Robot Software". 1R-0NC-LAD will give out photos that show the location of the Software it needs, which will be contained inside white containers. V must glean clues on where the containers are from the photos. Once they find the Robot Software and send it via the messaging system, 1R-0NC-LAD will give V a recorded message from its creator, Erwin Kirsch, alongside a photo for the next data.

The final Software requires V to physically upload it directly to the laptop, after which they have three choices: wipe the robot's memory, leave it alone, or reprogram it (requires 15 Intelligence).

If V wipes 1R-0NC-LAD's memory:

After a few days pass, 1R-0NC-LAD will send a final message to V, with an image showing them the location of some loot. This location is also found within the EBM Petrochem Stadium, but is only accessible during the Gig: Roads to Redemption quest. The chest with the reward can be found near a maintenance bay with three combat robots in it.

If V leaves 1R-0NC-LAD alone:

Once an undetermined amount of time has passed, a message will be sent by 1R-0NC-LAD that reveals its firewall has been updated, cutting off its contact. Players can return to 1R-0NC-LAD's location to find the body of Erwin Kirsch dead by the foot of a now armed 1R-0NC-LAD. Kirsch's body can be looted for weapons, along with a shard message revealing that 1R-0NC-LAD had lured Erwin to it. If players leave the area, 1R-0NC-LAD will disappear from its location.

If V reprograms 1R-0NC-LAD (requires 15 Intelligence):

V will take a few seconds to reprogram 1R-0NC-LAD, after which 1R-0NC-LAD will begin to play the guitar. After a few days, 1R-0NC-LAD will send another image clue, along with a message saying that they're going to become a guitarist. The image leads to one of the stalls in the stadium's long outer hall overlooking the stadium shipwreck, where a stash can be found containing a Skill Shard and some Eurodollars.
