Scalpel is an Iconic Katana in Cyberpunk 2077.

Overview

A unique variant of the katana with a light-blue handle and a seemingly carbon fiber blade.

Scalpel has an iconic modifier which changes it damage type to Electrical and adds a 20% chance to apply Shock, dealing a moderate amount of Electrical damage. Additionally, while Sandevistan is active, Crit Chance is increased by 50% and all hits apply Bleeding.

• Big in Japan - Given to V as a reward.

Notes

• "時友都市最暮更り星 ・ここに見参" is written on the left-hand side of the blade. This roughly translates to: "In the city where time befriends the night, where stars ignite the deepest dusk, I make my grand entrance here."^{[verification needed]}

Trivia

• The katana and it's iconic effect are a reference to Raiden's Blade Mode, which uses the same blue hue seen on the hilt of Scalpel and slows down time.^{[verification needed]}
