Blackout is the third comic book series set in the Cyberpunk 2077 world. The comic is published by Dark Horse Comics and is written by Bartosz Sztybor, Narrative Manager at CD Projekt RED.

Descriptions

Issue #1

It hurts. Night City hurts. The suffering runs deep and the deeper one falls, the longer the self-prescribed dreams play. Fortune, hope, love--all made possible by DMS technology. But not everyone desires a happy ending. A braindance repairman discovers the answer to pain . . . comes in a blackout.[1]

Issue #2

Arturo's heist scheme is set in motion--all he needs is a team--a trusted cyberpunk, the best driver in Night City, and an unlikely ally within one of the city's most corrupt institutions. Choices have consequences, but this time, the choice is his.[2]

Issue #3

Change is finally within Arturo's reach, but one wrong move could ruin the heist and two wrong moves could shatter all hope of a new future. For every action, there is a reaction--and regret might be his last.[3]

Issue #4

To submit to weakness or to defeat it--Arturo finds that giving in might just be the key to breaking the cycle. And if second chances exist--life can be worth choosing.[4]

Trivia

  • What appears to be a Sixth Generation Ford Mustang (more precisely a Shelby GT500) shows up in Issues #2, #3 and #4. The car plate reads: "RS 2010".[5] It is the second real-world vehicle appearing in the 2077 era, the first being a Porsche 911.
