McDonnell-Douglas is a commercial and military aircraft manufacturer founded in Missouri, USA. The company merged with Boeing on August 1, 1997, although this merger did not occur in the Cyberpunk timeline.

Aircraft Models

The McDonnell-Douglas C-181 SST Transport is an aircraft manufactured by McDonnell-Douglas, introduced in Cyberpunk 2020. The International Electric Corporation owns five of these aircraft, as referenced in the Corporation Report 2020 Volume 1, page 78. Additionally, the McDonnell-Douglas F-39 Phoenix is a jet introduced in Firestorm Shockwave.

Cyberpunk 2020 Vehicles

In the Cyberpunk 2020 universe, the BMW-McDonnell Douglas AV-7 is an AV with an airspeed of 250 mph and an operational radius of 400 miles. The cost of the AV-7 is 400,000 eb, as detailed in Cyberpunk 2020, 2nd ed., page 184. The Douglas AV-7 Aerodyne, also manufactured by McDonnell-Douglas, was introduced in Cyberpunk 2013. Notably, Strike Heron was injured in an AV-7 crash, and the AV-7's electronics were tampered with by a corporation. Furthermore, Johnny Silverhand was nearly torn in half by a bomb that destroyed his AV-7 Aerodyne.
