Overview
The Highwayman is a hidden Side Job in Cyberpunk 2077, beginning at Woodhaven Street in Rancho Coronado East. The quest can also start by finding Josie's body and reading a shard. To officially start the side job, players must access the terminal in a garage located behind the Gun-O-Rama gun shop on Woodhaven Street.
Key Characters and Events
James is found sitting on a bench in front of a 24/7 stand in Japantown West. Josie's body is discovered behind a dumpster, with her cause of death detailed on a shard labelled 'Bad news.' Josie had stolen a bike from a Tyger Claw boss, which is stowed on Maelstrom turf by All Foods, located in the Northside of Watson. The date James and Josie met is noted as 0214.
Quest Details
The quest involves finding a garage mentioned by Josie and includes picking up a still. Players must find James and discover what happened to Josie. The quest steps can be completed out of order, and the first dialogue choice with James can lead to a peaceful resolution. After acquiring Josie's bike, James and Josie's graffiti will disappear from the bench, and James will no longer appear there.
