Clyde O'Reilly[2] (more commonly known as C.J. O'Reilly) was a character in the Cyberpunk universe.

Biography

C.J. O'Reilly was a freelance journalist who worked with Solo of Fortune magazine. He was best known for his role as a war correspondent during the Lat-Am Wars[3] and the Fourth Corporate War.[4]

As a journalist, O'Reilly was popular among combat veterans due to his first-hand experience in war.[3]. His gonzo journalism often choosing to depict emotional stories in a linear fashion with him as the protagonist.[5]

As an interviewer, he preferred to ask about their current work and continue with follow-up questions that establish their background.[3]
