Kang Tao A-22B Chao

The A-22B Chao (Simplified Chinese: 超, "Superior") is a Smart Pistol manufactured by Kang Tao in Cyberpunk 2077.

Characteristics

The Chao is a small, ultra-compact pistol with a 21 round magazine which fires in 3-round bursts. It is equipped with a Smart targeting system, that allows the projectiles to home in on locked targets.

In order to use the weapon's Smart targeting system, Smart Link cyberware is required to be installed in the user's palm.

Due to the addition of the Smart targeting system, it is not possible to install a Scope and Muzzle attachment.

KANG TAO A-22B CHAO

The smartgun market used to be an Arasaka-only affair. But that all changed when Kang Tao stepped in. The A-22B Chao is the Chinese answer to Arasaka's Yukimura. As the gossip goes, both guns may have been designed by the same engineer, extracted from the Japanese corp on Kang Tao's orders. Whatever the case may be, you can be sure the A-22B Chao is easy to use and reload; once the last cartridge is used, the empty magazine is automatically discharged. Easy-to-use, practical... unless the empty mag hits an unsuspecting shooter in the foot, that is.
