Upscale Brownstones refers to a concept associated with the architectural styles and residential areas in the Greater Night City Area, particularly in Pacifica and the University District.

Pacifica

Pacifica was a city located in the Greater Night City Area, known for its upper-class residential coastal environment. It was protected by a Militech security contract and was home to the newly renovated Playland by the Sea. The city featured expensive condos in the Coastview development and claimed to have a more relaxed attitude compared to Northern California. Pacifica was noted for its seafood, with almost all its restaurants making the top ten lists in their respective fields. The city also housed several galleries and museums, a small and prestigious art college, and the Pacifica Arcology. Ferry connections and NCART connections with the metropolitan area were available from Pacifica.

University District

The University District is one of the neighborhood districts of Central Night City, located to the southwest of Central Night City. It features faux brownstones and pseudo-Victorian gingerbread homes. The district is divided into two sections, with the western side housing Night City University and student apartments, while the eastern side is mostly occupied by Lake Park, a popular area for residents and students. The district has a vibrant atmosphere, with bike touring being ideal in the park and surrounding areas.
