History
Around since at least the Time of the Red, Morro Rock Radio was a small broadcasting station in Night City located on the island of Morro Rock. It primarily served as entertainment for the Orbital Air workers at the mass driver construction site, playing a combination of classic American rock and Neo-African pop.[1] Around 2045, Wacky the Weatherman was its weather broadcaster.[2]
In 2077, radio DJ Maximum Mike described Morro Rock Radio as playing classic Night City tunes. The station focused on playing rock, hip-hop, and pop music; of note the playlist contained many Samurai songs. It did not feature news broadcasts from N54 or WNS, instead DJ Maximum Mike hosted a show in which he explained mysteries and rumors about Night City and the world, the corporations' wrongdoings, and various other elements.[3]
