Raised in the [[Tokyo]] megaburb by a Japanese father and an American mother, Tammi-Lu fled to the States and became a naturalized citizen. Her ability to socialize with people got her into the music industry with relative ease, and she hooked onto Jack both as a ticket to the upper class and out of twisted maternal concern.
