'''Assisted Combat Personnel Armor (ACPA)''', occasionally still referred to by the older name of '''Assisted Combat Personal Armor''', and otherwise known as '''Powered Armor (PA)''', refers to a combat environment suit that has been reinforced with composite armor and assists the wearer in carrying its own weight as well as additional equipment and weaponry. It uses a more powerful advanced linear frame commonly referred to as a "chassis".

==Overview== 
An ACPA greatly increases the survivability and strength of a [[PA Trooper]]. A trooper can deadlift 90% of their suit's maximum weight capacity and carry up to 50% maximum weight capacity with no noticeable encumbrance.

Many ACPA also have a suit initiative bonus (SIB) that provides increased speed (MA + SIB).<ref>{{RefCP|2020MM|53-54,57, 62}}</ref>

ACPA are powered by a combined fuel cell/battery unit that lasts 24 hours and can be replaced in the field. All ACPA are considered watertight down to 30 meters, and have a filter/rebreather system that allows for 1 hour of sealed operation.
