After a brief conversation with [[Jackie Welles]] at [[Misty's Esoterica]], he tells V that he's arranged a meeting for them with a local [[fixer]], [[Dexter DeShawn]], about a job. V heads to Dex's limo, which is a short walk from Misty's. During the meeting, which takes place in the limo, V is told about a job to steal an [[Relic|experimental biochip]] from [[Arasaka]].

Dex mentions that the [[Maelstrom]] gang ambushed a [[Militech]] convoy and stole the experimental [[Flathead]] drone, which will be needed for the job, and that [[Meredith Stout]], a Militech corporate agent, could help V obtain it from the gang. He also suggests paying a visit to the client for the job, [[Evelyn Parker]].

After Dex drops V off at [[Kabuki Roundabout]], V calls Jackie to bring him up to speed about what went down during the meeting, and asks if V plans to visit Maelstrom or Evelyn first.
