Weapon Glitch in Cyberpunk 2077

Weapon Glitch is a Control Quickhack in Cyberpunk 2077 that disrupts enemy weapon functionality.

Overview

Weapon Glitch is a Tier 2 control quickhack that causes an enemy's weapon to jam for 14 seconds. It reduces enemy accuracy and disables Smart-targeting systems. The quickhack can be upgraded to higher tiers, each providing additional effects.

Variants

The Tier 3 variant extends Weapon Glitch's duration when locking onto an affected enemy. The Tier 4 variant detonates the enemy's primary weapon, forcing a switch to the secondary weapon. The Tier 5 variant grants a 6% Crit Chance with Smart Weapons upon successful uploads, which can stack up to 5 times for a total of 30%. Additionally, the Crit Chance bonus from the Tier 5 variant doubles to 12%, allowing for a total of 60% at maximum stacks.

Acquisition

The Weapon Glitch quickhack can be obtained as a reward for achieving 2nd place in the Roach Race mini-game, which is part of the Arcade Minigame DLC added in Patch 1.6.
