Overview

The Highcourt Plaza Hotel is a luxury hotel located in central Night City. It was built to be one of the most elegant, expensive, and stylish hotels in the city, featuring interior decoration in a 1920's Art Deco style. The hotel is twenty-eight stories tall and has twin towers of silvered glass.

Facilities and Services

The hotel offers a multitude of luxurious services, including a rental car and limousine service. Valet parking is provided in underground parking. The eastern wing includes an indoor pool, health spa, and fitness center, while the western wing features a convention center and a French restaurant. The hotel has double occupancy rooms from the 3rd to 24th floors, sixteen luxury suites with kitchens on the 25th to 27th floors, and two penthouse apartments for VIPs on the 28th floor.

Hotel security includes two armed detectives and eight roving plainclothes security personnel. Guards are equipped with electric stun guns and handheld communications gear. The lobby is protected by four turrets.

Historical Significance

The Highcourt Plaza Hotel survived the Fourth Corporate War and, by the 2040s, was well-defended and still operating. It is located in a combat zone of Night City, and customers usually arrived via an AV-4 that landed on the roof. In 2045, a film production shot scenes at the hotel.

Design and Architecture

The hotel features four observation glass elevators and has a rooftop that houses an AV landing pad and a fire escape chute box, which deploys a long tube to safely reach the street. The Highcourt Plaza shares similarities with Konpeki Plaza, as both hotels are covered in glass and have a shared atrium, twin towers housing penthouses, and AV landing pads.
