Evergreen Apartments

Evergreen Apartments is a cube hotel located in the New Westbrook suburb of Night City.

Overview

This establishment used to be a huge warehouse-store, measuring approximately 13,000 square m/yds in footprint. At some point, slumlords moved into the abandoned building and forcefully evicted any squatters living there. Then they turned it into a set of tenements known as the Evergreen Apartments, subdividing the space with cheap drywall and rickety metal stairs.

Better known as the "Everwilt Tenements" by locals, Evergreen advertised as a cube hotel, with a variety of cheap cube rooms and at least one room that used to be freezer space but was good for extra privacy due to its thick walls. Other facilities included communal bath and cooking spaces; the first used to be store's public bathrooms, and the latter was just the niche for a small shop that sold churros, hot dogs, and pizzas. For the right price, the slumlord running the business was happy to evict any families living there to make room for newcomers.
