Empathy (club)

Empathy is a club located in Corporate Center, in the City Center district of Night City.

The next level if you're looking for braindance sessions and live striptease. The club's name is a misnomer - if you're a delicate snowflake, better head on over to Lizzie's Bar. "Empathy" offers straight-up, hardcore porn so forget about filling that gaping hole in your soul with anything other than.

Overview

Empathy is a nightclub that specializes in hardcore porn braindances and live stripteases. It was previously co-owned by Adam Ibrahimovic and Larry Fanghorn, but after a mutiny committed by Adam, the club's access codes were changed, shady deals were made, and Animals were hired for security.

Larry, in a desperate attempt to reclaim the club for himself, contacted fixer Dino Dinovic to ask for help. Dinovic agreed, at the cost of a 10% monthly cut, but provided some of his own huscle in return as security. Dino would later reach out to V to settle this contract.

Johnny Silverhand's engram, using V's body after taking the pseudoendotrizine, will visit the club attempting to find out the hiding place of Jeremiah Grayson, after learning from Cassius Ryder that his girlfriend, Ruby Collins, works at Empathy.

Layout

The entrance opens into a small reception area. To the left, a guarded door prevents those who haven't deposited their weapons from entering. To the right, a door leads into the restricted staff area, but can be used to enter the main floor without a security check. Also in this area are three access points, and a set of stairs leads first to a raised platform over the dance floor, then to the second level VIP area, and lastly to the control room.

The central area consists of a dance floor, two bathrooms, and a bar. At the southeast corner next to the bartender, a second set of stairs rise to the second floor. This second floor houses another bar (unusable), more booths, several private rooms, and a restricted VIP area. The VIP area also has a set of stairs that lead to the control room. At the rear of the control room, a door leads out to a fire escape, in the backside of the building.
